Area of circle whose radius is equal to the length of side of square with area 16 sqcm

50.24 sqcm

 

Area of square = 16 sqcm  

Side of square =  = 4 cm            

Radius of circle = 4 cm  

Therefore, area of circle = πr^2  

                                       = 3.14 * 4 * 4  

                                        = 50.24 sqcm
