The area of an equilateral triangle
 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {a}^{2}
where a is the side
So

 \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  \times  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3} }  =  \frac{1}{ {a}^{2} }
 \frac{1}{4}  =  \frac{1}{ {a}^{2} }
a  =  \sqrt{4}
a = 2
So the side is 2 cm

Hope this helps you!!!
