The area of a Triangle = 1/2 × base × height

In an equilateral Triangle all sides are same , hence the base and Height will be same

1/2 × 2√3 × 2√3
= 1/2 × 4 × 3/ 1
= 1/2 × 12
= 6cm

Hence the Area of the Triangle which is equilateral with side 2√3 is 6 cm

Hope it helps

abhi0011: this is only valid in right angled triangle
abhi0011: but all angles in an equilateral triangle is 60 degree each
