Answer : The Area of the floor = 220 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Height = 5 m

Area of 4 walls = 660 m²

To find: The area of the floor = ?

Let's assume the breadth = x

Then length will be 2x ----------- ( According to given condition )

Area of 4 walls = 2(lh + bh)

Where ; l = length

b = breadth

h = height

on substuting the values we get ;

∴ 2(10x + 5x) = 660

∴ 2 ( 15x ) = 660

∴ 30x = 660

∴ x = 660 /30

∴ x = 22

Therefore ; breadth = 22m and length = 2 × 22 = 44 m

Area of floor = l x h = 44 x 5 = 220 m²
