 We\ have\ measures\ of\ equal\ sides\ and\ height \\ corresponding\ to\ third\ side. \\ \\ As\ it\ is\ isosceles,\ when\ we\ subtract\ the\ square\ of\ height \\ from\ the\ square\ of\ one\ among\ equal\ sides,\ we\ get\ square\ of \\ half\ of\ the\ third\ side. \\ \\ \therefore\ Third\ side \\ \\ = 2\sqrt{(5^2 - 4^2)} \\ \\ = 2\sqrt{(25 - 16)} \\ \\ = 2\sqrt{9} \\ \\ = 2 \times 3 = 6\ cm \\ \\ \\

 \\ \\ \\ Let's\ find\ the\ area. \\ \\ \\ Area \\ \\ = \frac{1}{2} \times 6 \times 4 \\ \\ = \frac{1}{2} \times 24 = 12\ cm^2 \\ \\ \\

 \\ \\ \\ Thank\ you. \\ \\ \\ \#adithyasajeevan
