Given ;
area of base of a solid hemisphere = πr² = 36π cm²
Thus
- r² = 36
- r = ± 6 but length is always +ve
- r = 6cm
Thus volume of a solid hemisphere => 2/3×πr³
- 2/3 × π × 6 × 6 × 6
- 2 × 2 × π × 36
- 4 × 36 × π
- 144 × π
- 144 × 22/7
- ≈ 452.57 cm³
