It may be found as the sum of two triangles formed by joining one of the diagonals of the quadrilateral. OR Area of any quadrilateral can be calculated by dividing it into two triangles. Example 10: Find the area of the quadrilateralABCD in which the sides AB, BC, CD, DA and diagonal AC are 25, 60, 52, 39 and 65cm
