Area of rectangle is 192 cm²& its breath is 12 cm. Find the perimeter and the diagonal of the rectangle.​

Solution - Firstly we need to find the length of rectangle using the formula -

Area = length × breadth

Length =  \frac{192}{12}

Length = 16 cm

Now, finding the perimeter using the formula -

Perimeter = 2 × (length + breadth)

Perimeter = 2 × (16 + 12)

Perimeter = 2 × 28

Perimeter = 56 cm

Now, finding diagonal of rectangle by the formula-

Diagonal =  \sqrt{ {length}^{2} +  {breadth}^{2}  }

Diagonal =  \sqrt{ {16}^{2} +  {12}^{2}  }

Diagonal =  \sqrt{256 + 144}

Diagonal =  \sqrt{400}
