Area of rectangle = 520 cm²

Let the breadth be x .

Length = x + 30% of x

            = x + 30/100 × x

            = x + 3 x/10

            = ( 10 x + 3 x ) / 10

            = 13 x / 10

Given area = 520 cm²

Length × breadth = 520 cm²

⇒ 13 x / 10 × x = 520 cm²

⇒ 13 x² / 10 = 520 cm²

⇒ 13 x² = 5200 cm²

⇒ x² = 400 cm²

⇒ x = 20 cm

Breadth of the rectangle is 20 cm .

Solution:-

Given:-

Area of Rectangle:- 520 cm^2

Let the Breadth be x cm.

=> Length = 520/x cm.

A.T.Q.

Length is 30% more than the Breadth.

 = > \frac{520}{b} = b + \frac{30}{100} \times b \\ \\ = > \frac{520}{b} = \frac{10b + 3b}{10} \\ \\ = > 5200 = 13 {b}^{2} \\ \\ = > {b}^{2} = \frac{5200}{13 } \\ \\ = > {b}^{2} = 400 \\ \\ = > b = 20cm

Hence, The Breadth of the Rectangle is 20 cm.
