Answer:

Solution :-

Let ABCD is a rectangle, in which length AB = 40 cm, and a diagonal AC = 41 cm.

In rectangle each angle is of 90°.

\boxed{So, \:angle \:ABC = 90°}

ac {}^{2}  = ab {}^{2}  + bc {}^{2} \\  \\ (41) {}^{2}   = (40) {}^{2}  + bc {}^{2}  \\  \\ 1681 - 1600 = bc {}^{2}  \\  \\ 81 = bc {}^{2}  \\  \\ 9 {}^{2}  = bc {}^{2}  \\  \\ bc = 9cm

Hence , Breadth of rectangle = 9cm

Now, Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (length + breadth).

=> 2(40 + 9)cm

=> 2 × 49 cm.

\tt\huge{Hence,Perimeter\: of\: rectangle \:is \:98 cm}
