AnSwer -:

The other diagonal of Rhombus is

40 cm. _____________________________

Explanation-:

Formula of area of Rhombus-:

“A = 1/2 x d1 x d2”

A = Area

D1 = Diagonal 1

D2 = Diagonal 2

Given ,

Diagonal 1 of Rhombus-:6 cm

Area of Rhombus-: 120 cm^2

To find ,

Diagonal 2 of Rhombus

______________________________

Formula of area of Rhombus-:

“A = 1/2 x d1 x d2”

A = Area = 120 cm^2

D1 = Diagonal 1 = 6 cm

D2 = Diagonal 2 = ??

Now ,

1/2 x 6 x d2 = 120 cm^2

3 x d2 = 120 cm^2

D2 = 120/3

D2 = 40 cm

Hence ,

The other diagonal of Rhombus is

40 cm.

Verification-:

Formula of area of Rhombus-:

“A = 1/2 x d1 x d2”

A = Area = 120 cm^2

D1 = Diagonal 1 = 6 cm

D2 = Diagonal 2 = 40 cm

Now,

1/2 x 6 x 40 = 120 cm^2

3 x 40 = 120 cm^2

120 cm^2 = 120 cm^2

Therefore,

LHS = RHS

Hence verified
