Diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other perpendicularly

By Pythagoras Theorem,

AD²=AE²+ED²(E is the point intersection of the 2 diagonals)

13²=AE²+25²

AE²=144

AE=12 cm

AC=2×12 cm

Area of rhombus=1/2×d1×d2
