            d₂ = diagonal 6 cm²

Area of rhombus = \frac{1}{2} d₁ × d₂

                            = \frac{1}{2} (8 × 6)cm²

                            = \frac{1}{2} (48)cm²

                            = 24cm²

Area of the rhombus is 24cm².
