Concept

Area of Rhombus using length of diagonals. A = ½ × d1 × d2 where d1 and d2 are length of diagonals.

Given

Product of diagonals are 2500 cm2.

Find

The area of Rhombus whose product of diagonals are given.

Solution

  • Rhombus is four sided quadrilateral whose four sides are equal.
  • The formulae to calculate Area of Rhombus = ½ × d1 × d2 .
  • Product of diagonals = d1 x d2 = 2500.
  • using in area formula,

                        A = 1/2 x 2500

                       A = 1250 cm2.

     Hence the area of rhombus whose product of diagonals are 2500cm2 is 1250 cm2.
