area of triangle :

i) herons formula : a, b, c, are sides of triangle and S is the semi perimeter(a+b+c/2) of the triangle

so, area of triangle =

 \sqrt{s (s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

ii) commonly known formula :where b is base and h is the corresponding height .

so the area = (1/2)bh

perimeter of triangle :

I) a+b+c, where a, b, c, are sides (scalene triangle)

II) 3a, where all side are equal to a (equilateral triangle)

IIII) 2a+b , where 2 side are equal to a and other is b (isoceles triangle)
