Option C

Answer:

Area=1/4×22/7×21×21-1/4×22/6×14×14

Area=22/28(441-196)

=22/28×245

=22/4×35

=11×35/2

=385/2

=192.5cm²

Given - Radius of complete quarter circle = 21 centimetres

Radius of inner part of quarter circle = 14 centimetres

Find - Area of shaded region

Solution - Area of quarter circle is calculated by the formula = π*r²/4

Now, the formula used as per the given figure will be = π*(R²-r²)/4

In this formula, R represents complete radius and r represents radius of inner part of circle.

Keeping the values in formula, we get -

Area = π*(21²-14²)/4

Area = 192 cm²

Hence, the area of shaded region is (C) 192 cm².
