area of square = l^2

so, √5184

= 72 m

it is a side of square

now, perimeter of square is 4l

= 4×72

=288 m

this is equal to rectangle perimeter

now,

rectangle peremeter is 2(l+b)

here ractangle breath is x and length is twice so length is 2x

288=2(2x+x)

288=2(3x)

288=6x

x=288/6

x= 48

it means breath of rectangle is 48 and length of rectangle is 2x or 48×2 = 96 m.

now area of rectangle is l×b

48×96

=4608 m^2.
