Concept:

In general, the volume of a cuboid is equal to the area that it takes up in space. It is dependent upon the cuboid's three dimensions, or its length, breadth, and height. Due to the fact that all of a cuboid's faces are rectangular, the term "Solid Rectangle" is also referred to as a cuboid. All of the angles and the opposite faces of a cuboid in a rectangular cuboid are at right angles.

Volume = lx bx h

Surface area = 2(lb+bh+lh)

Given:

Area of the base of a cuboid 9 sq m, area ofside face and other side face are 16 sq m and 25 sq m respectively.

Find:

Find the volume of thecuboid

Solution:

Given,

l x b=9 cm²

bx h =16 cm²

l x h =25 cm²

Since, Volume = lx bx h

As per question,

(lx b) x (bxh) x (lxh) =9 x 16 x 25

(lxbxh)²= 9 x 16 x25

Volume =3 x 4 x5

            =60cm²

Therefore, the volume of the cuboid is 60cm²
