Given :-

  • Area of the base of the cuboid = 176 cm²
  • Volume of the cuboid = v = 880 cm³

To Find :-

  • Height of the cuboid.

Solution :-

Let the height of the cuboid be 'h' cm.

Volume of the cuboid :-

➥  Volume = Base area × Height

➥  880 cm³ = 176 cm² × h

➥  h = (880 cm³)/(176 cm²)

➥  h = ( 11 × 16 × 5 )/( 11 × 16 )

➥  h = 5 cm

∴ Height of the cuboid = 5 cm.

\dag\:\:\underline{\sf Question:- :}

Area of the base of cuboid is 176 cm² and its volume is 880cm³. Find it's height.

\dag\:\:\underline{\sf Required\: Solution :}

Given:-

  • Area of the base of the cuboid = 176 cm²
  • Volume of the cuboid = 880 cm³

To find:-

  • Height of the cuboid

Solution:-

Let the height of the cuboid be 'h' cm.

We know that,

                        Volume of cuboid = Base area (l ×b) × h

880 = 176 × h

\frac{880}{176} = h

∴ h = 5 cm

The height of the cuboid is 5 cm.

★ NOTE:-

Area of the base of a cuboid = l × b

Hope this helps you! ♡
