60/360] x 3.14 10 x10

= 314/6 = 52.3cm^2

Area of the cicle is 3.14 x 10 x 10 = 314

Hence area of the major sector = 314 - 52.3 = 261.7cm^2

Hope this will help you..... ✌

Given:

Radius =10cm

Teta=60°

Area of sector = teta / 360 × π r^2

= 60/360×22/7 ×10×10

= 1/6×22/7×100

= 52.3 cm^2

Hope this helped you
