HEY Buddy....!! here is ur answer

Answer : 10 cm

Given that : Lateral Surface Area of brick = 480 cm² , Height = 8 cm and Length = 20 cm

Now, according to the question :

2h(l + b) = 480 \\ \\ = > 2 \times 8(20+ b) = 480 \\ \\ = > 20 + b = 30 \\ \\ = > b = 10 \: cm

So, the breadth will be 10 cm.

I hope it will be helpful for you...!!

THANK YOU ✌️✌️

Hey\:!!..

Given, lateral surface area of the brick = 280 {cm}^{2}

Height = 8 cm

Length = 20 cm

We know that, LSA of a cuboid = 2h (l+b)

So, according to question,

2h(l+b) = 480 {cm}^{2}

Substituting the values :

》2 × 8 (20 + b) = 480

》20 + b = 30

》b = 10 cm

So, the breadth of the given brick will be 10 cm.

Verification -

2h(l+b) = 2\times 8(20+30)

LSA=480\:{cm}^{2}
