Given, lateral surface area of the brick = 280
Height = 8 cm
Length = 20 cm
We know that, LSA of a cuboid = 2h (l+b)
So, according to question,
= 480
Substituting the values :
》2 × 8 (20 + b) = 480
》20 + b = 30
》b = 10 cm
So, the breadth of the given brick will be 10 cm.
