Area of quadrilateral :
Area of trapezium AEDC + area of triangle ABC
1/2 * ( sum of parallel sides) * height + 1/2 * base * height
1/2 * ( 12 + 8) *2+ 1/2 * 12 * 4
1/2 * 20 * 2 + 24
20 + 24
44 answer

Here is your answer

⏩Area of of quadrilateral = Area of trapezium + area of triangle

As we know ,

Area of trapezium = 1/2 × height × (sum of its parallel side)

And , area of triangle = 1/2 × base × height

Here ,

Height of trapezium = 2 cm

It's parallel side are = 8 and 12 cm

height of triangle = 4 cm

Base = 12 cm

Area of quadrilateral = [ 1/2 × h × sum of its parallel siDe] + (1/2 × h × b)

[1/2 × 2 × ( 8 + 12)] + ( 1/2 × 4 × 12)

20 + 24

44 cm²

Therefore, the area of the quadrilateral is 44cm²

I HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU ☺️✌️

Thank you ✌️
