let the missing parallel side be 'x'.
area of trapezium = 1/2 h(sum of parallel sides)
2500 = 1/2 * 40 * (75+x)
2500 = 1500 + 20x
20x = 1000
x = 1000/20  = 50 m

the missing parallel side is 50 m

area of the trapezium = 2500m^2
formula of the area of the trapezium= 1/2×(b1+b2)× h
so, 1/2× (75+b2)×40= 2500
= 1/2× (75+b2)= 2500/40
1/2×(75+b2)= 62.5
= (75+b2)= 62.5×2
= (75+b2)= 125
= b2= 125-75
b2= 50 answer ...
