Answer :

The length of the other side = 32cm

Step-by-step explanation :

\large\fbox{ \green\bf Given :- }

Area of trapezium = 1600cm²

Distance of one parallel side = 100cm

\large\fbox { \red\bf To find :}

Length of other parallel side = ?

\large\fbox { \blue\bf Solution :}

Consider the length of oher side as  ' a ' cm

We know that ,

  • Area of trapezium = ( 1/2 ) × ( a + b ) × h

Putting the values in the formula , we get

→ 1/2 × 100 × a = 1600

→ 50a = 1600

→ a = 1600 / 50

→ a = 32

Therefore , the length of the other side = 32cm
