Answer:

Let the required other side be in 'x' cm.

Area of trapezium = \frac{1}{2} × [Sum of parallel sides] × [Height]

{34}cm^{2} =  \frac{1}{2} × [10 + x]× {4}cm^{2}

2 × 34 ÷ 4= 10 + x

10 + x = 17

x = 17 - 10

x = 7

Therefore,

The length of the other parallel side is 7cm.

Heya Mate !!!

Your Answer is ; 7 cm

Step by Step Explanation ;-
≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈≈

=> Let the required other be "y".

• We know the formula ;-

> Area of the Trapezium = 1/2 x ( Sum of parallel sides ) x ( Height )

=> 34 cm^2 = 1/2 x ( 10 + y ) x 4 cm^2

=> ( 2 x 43 / 4 cm )cm^2 = 10 + y

=> 10 + y = 17

=> y = 17 - 10 = 7

Hence , the required other side is 7 cm.
