Given:-

  • Parallel sides of trapezium are 24 cm and 20 cm
  • Distance between them = Height = 15 cm

To find:-

  • Find the area of trapezium ?

Solution:-

We know that,

The area of trapezium = (sum of parallel side) × height

According to the question:-

=> (20 + 24) × 15

=> 44 × 15

=> 330cm²

Hence, the area of the trapezium is 330 cm².

Some Important:-

Area of trapezium => 1/2(sum of parallel side) × height

  • Perimeter = sum of all side.
  • AB // CD
  • <A + <D = <B + <C = 180°
