LENGTH OF PARALLEL SIDES ARE = 7 cm AND 5 cm

HEIGHT = 4 cm

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times height \:  \times (sum \: of \: the \: parallel \: sides) \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 4 \times (7 + 5) \:  \:  \: sq.cm \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 4 \times 12 \:  \:  \: sq. cm\\  \\  = 2 \times 12  \:  \:  \:  \: sq.cm\\  \\  = 24 \:  \:  \:  \: sq.cm
