Correct Question :

Area of Trapezium is 110 m² and it's Height is 11 m if one Parallel side is 7 m then other parallel side is .

Given :

⬤ Area of Trapezium is 110 m² .

⬤ Height of Trapezium is 11 m.

⬤ One Parallel Side is 7 m.

To Find :

⬤ Length of Other Parallel Side of Trapezium .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area \: of \: Trapezium = \dfrac{1}{2} \times{(Sum \: of \: Parallel\: Sides)}\times{h}}\:]

  • h = height

Solution :

Let :

  • Length of Other Parallel Side be x .

According to the Formula :-

110 = ½ × (Sum of Parallel Sides) × h

110 = 1/2 × (7 + x) × 11

100 × 2 = 77 + 11x

220 = 77 + 11x

220 - 77 = 11x

143 = 11x

143/11 = x

13 = x

Therefore , The Value of x is 13 .

Hence , Length of Other Parallel Side of Trapezium is 13 m .

Check :

110 = ½ × (7 + 13) × 11

110 = ½ × 20 × 11

110 = 10 × 11

110 = 100

Hence Checked .

Given :-

  • Area of trapezium = 110²
  • Height = 11m
  • One parallel side = 7cm

To Find :-

  • Other parallel

Solution :-

Formula used -

\sf{\dfrac{1}{2}  \times (Sum \: of \: prallel \: sides) \times h}

Put values :-

\qquad:\to\sf{100 = \dfrac{1}{2}  \times (7 + x) \times 11}\\\\

\qquad:\to\sf{100 \times {2}  =  77 \times 11x}\\\\

\qquad:\to\sf{220 = 77 + 11x}\\\\

\qquad:\to\sf{220 - 77 = 11x}\\\\

\qquad:\to\sf{143 = 11x}\\\\

\qquad:\to\sf{x =  \dfrac{143}{11} }\\\\

\qquad:\to{\underline{\boxed{\pink{\frak{x = 13}}}}}

Therefore, Other parallel = 13 \boxed\checkmark
