Let the given point is A(x,y),B(1,2),C(2,1).

Area of a triangle ABC= 21

[x 1 (y2−y 3 )+x 2

(y3−y 1)+x 3

(y1 −y 2 )]

6= 21

[x(2−1)+1(1−y)+2(y−2)]

12=x+1−y+2y−4

x+y−3=12

x+y=15

Hence, proved.
