Answer:

Area of a triangle is bh/2

where b is base, and h is height

If the base of a triangle is 3cm, and the height is 4cm :

The area will be bh/2 = 3*4/2 = 12/2 = 6cm^2

Answer:

if we are given with base and height/ altitude of the triangle, then area of triangle can be found by the formula : 1/2 × base × height

if we are given with measure of 3 sides of the triangle , then formula for finding it's area will be:

√[ s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c) ]

in formula s = semi perimeter of triangle

and a , b and c are sides of the triangle
