area under y = 2x graph between limit x = 0 and x = 3 is 9 sq unit.

you can solve it two important methods.

(1) graph, (2) integration.

graph method , try yourself to solve it. just draw the graph of y = 2x , x = 0 and x = 3 then find the enclosed area. you will get enclosed shape is triangle which base is 3 and height is 6.

so, area of triangle = 1/2 × 3 × 6 = 9 sq unit

integration, integrate y = 2x under x = 0 to 3.

i.e., area enclosed by graph, A = 0_∫³(2x),dx

= [x²]

= [3² - 0²]

= 9 sq unit.

hence, area under y = 2x graph between limit x = 0 and x = 3 is 9 sq unit.
