let triangles ΔABC and ΔDEF are given in such a way that ΔABC ≅ ΔDEF where ΔABC = 100 cm² and ΔDEF = 64 cm² and also DE = 12 cm

so, ΔABC/ΔDEF = AB²/DE²

⇒ 100cm²/64cm² = AB²/(12cm)²
