Areas of two similar triangles are 100 cm² and 64 cm². If a side of the smaller triangle is 12 cm, then find corresponding side of the bigger triangle.​

Let the side of bigger triangle be B. Then as per formula, we have

100/64=B^2/12^2

After cross multiplying and simplifying, we get

B^2=100×144/64

B=10×12/8==15 cm
