Areas of two similar triangles are in the ratio 4 : 9.If the perimeter of the smaller triangle
is 24cm find the perimeter of the larger triangle.

Answer:

area of triangle is directly proportional to perimeter or vice-versa

therefore, 24/p=4/9; p=24*9/4=54m

so perimeter of larger triangle is 54m
