Step-by-step explanation:

given,

•ABCD is a //gm

•P,Q,R and S are mid point of

AB,BC,CD and AD respectively

•AC is diagonal of ABCD

Construction: join DB

To prove: PQ=RS and QR=PS

Proof: In ∆ABC,

P is mid point of AB

Q is mid point of BC

PQ= AC/2 {mid point theorem}

In ∆ADC,

S is mid point of AD

R is mid point of CD

RS= AC/2 {mid point theorem}

here PQ=AC/2=RS so, PQ=RS

Again,

In ∆DBC,

R is mid point of CD

Q is mid point of BC

RQ= DB/2 {mid point theorem}

In ∆ADB,

P is mid point of AB

S is mid point of AD

PS= DB/2 {mid point theorem}

here RQ= DB/2= PS so, RQ=PS
