Hello

Answer:1/2 chocolate

Solution:

As the complete chocolate is considered as a whole,or 1.

so,Arif gives 1/3 to his one brother

Chocolate left with Arif
 = 1 -  \frac{1}{3}  \\  \\   = \frac{3 - 1}{3}  \\  \\  =  \frac{2}{3}
Now he gave 1/4 to other brother
 \frac{2}{3}  -  \frac{2 \times 1}{3 \times 4}  \\  \\  =  \frac{2}{3}  -  \frac{1}{6}  \\ \\   =  \frac{4 - 1}{6}  =  \frac{3}{6}  \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{2}
So, Arif left with 1/2 (half chocolate)

Hope it helps you.
