Aristotle's classification include both fish & whale under one group.how are these unrelated?

Fish and whale both are aquatic animals and are vertebrates so they were put under one group. But there are significant differences between the two. Whales are mammals while fish belong to a different class of animals. Whales are warm blooded and breathe air through lungs. They give birth to young ones and feed them with milk. While fish have gills which extract oxygen from the water and help it to live underwater for the entire life.
