Let the HCF of two numbers be x

and LCM of two numbers= 28x

The sum of HCF and LCM = 435 ...( Given)

According to the question

x+28x = 435

29x = 435

x= 15

Therefore,

HCF of two numbers =15

LCM of two numbers= 28x = 28×15 = 420

Now

LCM× HCF = Product of two numbers

420×15= 60 × Second number

Second number = (420×15)/60= 105
