Step-by-step explanation:

Since the ratio of the water is to Pulp was 4:1

let the initial water in the oranges =4x and initial pulp in the oranges= 1x and after crushing the ratio between the water and pulp =3:2

Let the final amount of water=3y and final amount of pulp= 2y

Final amount of oranges=3y+2y=5y

Since in the crushing the weight of the pulp will be not affected,

=> 1x=2y

=> x=2y

Hence the initial amount of water in oranges= 4×2y=8y

also the initial amount of the pulp=1x=2y

According to the question,

The total weight of oranges initially=1.5kg

8y+2y=1.5kg

10y=1.5

Y=1.5/10

Y=0.15

Hence,the total amount of crushed oranges =5y=5×0.15=0.75 kg

Hope it helped ☺

All the best
