SOLUTION

GIVEN

Arjun can drive a car continuously at a speed of 40 km/hour

TO DETERMINE

Draw a time -distance graph for this situation up Arjun travels for a period 4 hours

EVALUATION

Let y km be the distance covered by Arjun in x hour

Now it is given that Arjun can drive a car continuously at a speed of 40 km/hour

Then y = 40x

Now we plot it on time -distance graph for this situation

On x axis we take time and on y axis we take distance covered

Then from graph we see that for x = 4 , y = 160

So that the point is A(4,160)

Hence Arjun travels 160 Km in 4 hours
