Let,

• Present Age Of Shriya = x years.
• Present Age Of Arjun = 3x years.

Four Years Ago,

• Age Of Shriya = (x - 4) years.
• Age Of Arjun = (3x - 4) years.

According To The Question,

⇢ 3x - 4 = 4(x - 4)

⇢ 3x - 4 = 4x - 16.

⇢ 3x - 4x = -16 + 4.

⇢ -x = -12.

⇢ x = 12.

Therefore,

• Present Age Of Shriya = 12 Years.

• Present Age Of Arjun = 36 Years.

Let , Shriya's age be x

Then , Arjun's age → 3x

Before four years ,

Shriya's age → x - 4

and , Arjun's age → 3x - 4

also , Arjun was 4 times the age of

Shriya → 4 ( x - 4 )

Therefore ,

➝ 4 ( x - 4 ) = 3x - 4

➝ 4x - 16 = 3x - 4

➝ 4x - 3x = 16 - 4
