Answer:

We know that the atomic mass of the glucose is 180g since atomic mass of carbon is 12g, hydrogen is 1g and of oxygen is 16g.

Since, in the question it is asked about the cost of 250g of glucose which here is given as 40.

So, we know that the cost of 1g is 250/40 of the glucose which will be 6.25.

So, we know that the single mole of glucose is the atomic mass of glucose  per cost of the one gram of glucose.

Which on putting the values we will get = 180/6.25.

                                                                     = 28.8.

Answer:  Cost of  glucose per mole is 28.8 Rs

Explanation:

To convert given masses into moles.

Moles of glucose =\frac{\text{ given mass of glucose}}{\text{ molar mass of glucose}}

given mass of glucose = 250 g

Molar mass of glucose = 180 g/mol

Moles of glucose =\frac{250g}}{180g/mol}=1.39moles

Thus if 1.39 moles of glucose cost= 40 rs

1 mole of glucose will weigh =\frac{40}{1.39}\times 1=28.8Rs

Cost of  glucose per mole is 28.8 Rs
