Answer:

1. Climate because of the weathering of different rocks that form in different climatic conditions and rock type as in arid climates, water performs landscape building and different rock types form different landscapes

2. It is the breakdown or dissolving of rocks and minerals on the Earth’s surface

3. Mechanical, chemical and biological weathering

4. Water and ice

5. In exfoliation, large flat or curved sheets of rock fracture and become detached. This is a result of pressure release.

6. Water gets into cracks and joints in bedrock. When the water freezes it expands and the cracks are opened a little wider. Over time, pieces of rock can split off a rock face and big boulders are broken into smaller rocks and gravels. (This process can also break bricks in buildings.)

7. When dead plants decompose during chelation, organic acids may form in the soil. This, when dissolved in water, causes chemical weathering.

8. Gradation is the levelling of a land surface resulting from erosion and deposition. The agents of gradation are rivers, winds, sea water and glaciers.

9. Waterfalls and V-shaped valleys

10. Oxbow lakes and wide, shallow valleys.

11. Floodplains and deltas.

12. Aeolian landform.
