The message of the poem.. William wordsworth is the poet of this poem... The speaker feeling lonely is taking a walk when he sees a field of beautiful daffodils. He watches them quietly and happily.... His loneliness was cured by the magnificent yellow flowers. The thought of the daffodils continues to bring him joy even when he cannot see them. The idea of remembering the beauty of nature even when not in the presence appears in several of wordsworths poem... They gave him jocund company... When the poet was in vacant or pensive.
