Answer:

Qn 9.

70 + a = 180 degree (linear pair)

a = 110 degree

60 + b = 180 degree (linear pair)

b = 120 degree

sum of the measure of all interior angle of a pentagon is 540 degree.

therefore,

120 + 110 + 30 + x + x = 540

2x = 280

x = 140

Qn. 10.

Let the measures of two adjacent angles, ∠A and ∠B, of parallelogram ABCD are in the ratio of 3:2.

Let ∠A = 3x and ∠B = 2x

We know that the sum of the measures of adjacent angles is 180º for a parallelogram.

∠A + ∠B = 180º

3x + 2x = 180º

5x = 180º

∠A = ∠C = 3x = 108º (Opposite angles)

∠B = ∠D = 2x = 72º (Opposite angles)

the measures of the angles of the parallelogram are 108º, 72º, 108º, and 72º.

Qn. 11

Each interior angle = 165

Exterior angle of polygon =180 − 165 =15

The sum of exterior angles of any polygon is 360

Number of sides of regular polygon = 360/15

= 24 sided polygon
