\sf\purple{Question:-}

  • Arrange in descending order:-
  • -5/6, 2/-9, 3/12, 7/4

\sf\purple{Solution:-}

 \frac{ - 5}{6 \:}  \:  \frac{ - 2}{9}  \:  \frac{3}{12 \:} \:  \frac{7}{4}

lcm \: of \: 6 \:  \:  \: 9 \:  \: 12 \:  \: 4 = 36

 \frac{ - 5 \times 6}{6 \times 6}  =  \:  \frac{30}{36}

 \frac{ - 2 \times 4}{9 \times 4} =  \frac{ - 8}{36}

 \frac{3 \times 3}{12 \times 3} =  \frac{9}{36}

 \frac{7 \times 9}{4 \times 9}  =  \frac{63}{36}

\sf\purple{Final \ answer:-}

 \frac{7}{4}  >  \:  \frac{3}{12 \: }  \:  >  \:  \frac{ - 2}{9}  >  \:  \frac{ - 5}{6}
