Answer:

To write unlike fractions in descending order , we have to first find their LCM .

So , the LCM of the denominators - 6 , 8 , 6 , 12 is = 2 × 2 × 3 × 2 = 24

= 7/6 = 7 × 4 / 24 = 28/24

= 7/8 = 7 × 3 / 24 = 21/24

= 5/6 = 5 × 4 / 24 = 20/24

= 11/12 = 11 × 2 / 24 = 22/24

Now , we can arrange the following in descending order .

Descending order = 7/6 , 11/12 , 7/8 , 5/6

Therefore , the following fractions in descending order will be -

7/6 , 11/12 , 7/8 , 5/6 .
