● Answer -
- Atomic size is the distance from the nucleus to the valence shell where the valence electrons are located.
- In periodic table, atomic size decreases from left to right along the period.
- For 2nd period trend of atomic size is -
Li > Be > Bo > C > N > O > F > Ne
- For 3rd period trend of atomic size is -
Na > Mg > Al > Si > P > S > Cl > Ar
