We follow this by supplying manure to the soil. This involves even fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, etc. This helps in improving the health and yield of plant. Additionally, nitrogenous bacteria is artificially supplied to the deficient soils, too.

Once the plants are fully grown, they’re harvested. They are then reaped, in the case of pulses and cereals.

After this, we thresh the crops, especially if they’re grains. This helps loosen the edibles, and separates the husk from it.

Next, we winnow the crops, which helps separate grains from the chaff. It also removes pests from the grains.

After this, we store the grains that are harvested, and processed, thereby enabling it to last long. This also guarantees food security.
