Butan-2-ol has higher boiling point than 2-Chlorobutane. Butan-2-ol boils at 100°C while 2-chlorobutane boils at 70°C. Reason- Hydrogen bonding exists in Butan-2-ol which makes difficult for its molecule to convert into gas from liquid.

boiling point of butane = -1°C

and boiling point of 2-chlorobutane is 80°C

so, the increasing order of their boiling point is

butane < 2-chlorobutane<2-butanol <butanoic acid
